Brent and I hung out this past Saturday which subsequently was Cinco de Mayo. I tell you-- nothing signifies Mexican independence more than a bunch of SF yuppies getting their drink on. After walking around furniture shopping we made our way over to Elixir in the Mission. Much to our delight there were two baseball players with the most delicious looking apple bottoms seated at the bar. Granted they were straight-- but a Long Island Iced Tea while being heavily medicated produces the best fantasies (FYI).
Soon Julie was calling for us to meet up with her and her friends at Zeitgeist. We crawled on over. While enjoying the sun we had a delicious burgers and two pitchers of ale. Zeitgeist's patrons are an interesting lot. All kinds show up here though I'd say the majority of the crowd is young, straight and a lot go to great lengths to look disheveled and hip. During the week I suspect most of them work for hedge funds.
Brent and I both saw a really cute guy and became transfixed. Only when he opened his mouth we recoiled in horror. His two front teeth were missing! That's scary. Instead of enjoying myself I kept playing that terrible scene from "American History X" where Ed Norton puts that guys head on the curb to bust out his chompers. Ugh.
After the bar we went to join the masses at Dolores Park. The sun was still out in full effect. On the way we stopped by the new location for ADS Hats and Julie bought a fun white beanie. At the park Brent and Julie traded hats for awhile for a photo shoot.
